I just finished reading the third book of the Zodiac Academy series, ‘The Reckoning,’ by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti and it was INCREDIBLE 🤩🤩🤩! There are no spoilers below FYI (in true Pegasus style, just gonna smack you with EXTREME GLITTER ENTHUSIASM 😆!)
So if you have read Book 1 and Book 2, you already know the insanely high levels of awesomeness of these books! Like they are seriously AMAZING 🤩. And this book did not disappoint in any way, shape, or form. Not one tiny bit! It was everything I wanted and MORE 🙌🏻!
First off! We pick up RIGHT where we left off from Book 2! Ya’ll know I’m a HUGE fan of that folks! I cannot STAND a time-lapse after a cliffhanger ending of a prior book! Book 2 ending was AMAZING and Book 3 just swoops up in there and continues! BOO-YEAH 👊 And we get one of the guys POV’s right off the bat too 👏!
There were SOOOOOOOO many mind-blowing 🤯 moments in this book and so many boxes were ticked ✅! Fae trials… YES 🙌🏻 . The Reckoning…YES 🙌🏻. What orders our girls are… YES 🙌🏻 YES 🙌🏻 YES 🙌🏻 !!! And let me tell you… I SHOULD have seen that coming 🤦🏻♀️! I CANNOT believe I DIDN’T 😆! The signs were all there… oh yes they were! And they went right over my head 😆! Here’s hoping you figure it out and can say “OH I TOTALLY GUESSED IT!” Because I sure as hell didn’t! 😂😂
So not only was this a HUGE book … like HUGE for the main plotline (just so many huge milestones happen with great action & humor!)… it was FANTASTIC with the romance 💜!!! The romantic plotline definitely had some yesssssssssss finalllllllllly moments that we have been wishing ✨, hoping 🤞🏻, and BEGGING 🙏🏻 for! I won’t say who though… but know that you WILL be happy 😍! And then… THEN!! A moment happens that I was SALIVATING 🥵 over! Like… if I could post screenshots of my PM’s with my fellow Zodiac lover, you’d would fall over laughing 😂 . We literally were going back and forth …msg after msg.. with 🔥🔥🔥 and GIFS galore as I was reading a certain ‘moonlight’ scene! It was SO perfect! So fantastic! And I NEED MORE! MORE MORE MORE! I am TOTALLY IN LOVE 🥰 with one of these heirs now after that scene! He has majorly stepped up his game. There was line after line… my heart just melted 💜! Melted, I tell you 😩😆! It was hot 🔥hot 🔥hot 🔥!
And the ending. The ending people!!! Wow 🤩! Just wow 🤩 ! I love twists 🌪 and there was a whopper! We were totally led down one path to only find out that wasn’t where we were going at all! I LOVE UNPREDICTABILITY!
Words cannot say how fantastic this book is and how amazing of a series this is! If you have not read ZA yet… and you can get into a bully romance… literally now is the time! Would love to have you join me and read the rest along with me! 🙌🏻
These two sister authors are off the charts brilliant together 👏🏻 . So another big SHOUT OUT to Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti for making me a die-hard fan and continuing to keep this serial DNF’er a fan of this series book after book! Like seriously, each book just gets better!
So with that, I’ll end with a super fitting quote by Theodore Roosevelt and say to these two authors who have now become a part of my all time favs … “BULLY FOR YOU!”
