I read ‘The Puck Secret’ by G.N. Wright… and it is AMAZEPUCKS 🤩! (FYI, I’m not affiliated with the author and there are NO spoilers! 🙌🏻)
You guyssss 👏🏻… this is such a page-turning Contemporary Romance with lots of GREAT angst 🔥! It’s technically a “sports hockey romance” that takes place in “college,” but ehhhhhh… I’d really not categorize it as either 😅! Mainly because there are like TWO hockey 🥅 games in the WHOLE book (correct me if I’m wrong folks 👆🏻,) that are only a paragraph a piece 😆! Annnnnd the FMC doesn’t attend class ✏️ once so… yeah, GOOD 👍🏻 news for all of you who don’t like a HOCKEY 🏒 romance OR books that take place in school 🏫!
So what is this book about 🤔?! Well! Let me tell you 👆🏻! It’s a bundle of ‘You Got Mail 📧’ meets steamy 🔥 enemies 🥷-to-💘 lovers with some really GREAT spice 🌶️ ! Like… one minute I was like… is this a Why Choose 🧍🏼♂️👫But it IS NOT😲 ! And IF that scene 🎬 bothers you… please just KEEP READING! It all makes sense right after! And if you love a little two+ action 🔥, you’re gonna LOVE ❤️🔥 this! Whew! Someone pass me a fan! 🥵🥵
It all starts out with our FMC – a college aged woman- who is obligated to fulfill her rich 🤑 daddy’s expectations 💍 (No, it’s not that kind of “Daddy” … head out of the dirt folks 😅!) She’s promised to a rich douche canoe 🛶 , but luckily, with a twist of fate 📱 … ends up in a VERY unconventional relationship with her enemy 🥷… the captain of the hockey 🥅 team! (Who is smoking HOT 🥵, might I add!) Throw in some really steamy 🌶️ texts and a BOB 🔋 named Harold (if you don’t know what that means, I really can’t help you 😆)… and the spice scale goes from 0 to 100, faster than a puck!
Honestly, if you LOVE ❤️ a good enemies-to-lovers with an alphahole who is walking … or should I say skating… s&x on a hockey stick 🏒 … just give this a shot! It’s free on KU and you never know… you may Pucking LOVE IT TOO!
