I read ‘The Tyrant Alpha’s Rejected Mate,’ The Five Packs Book 1 by Cate C Wells and I LOVED IT 😍! (FYI, I’m not affiliated with the author, not in the book biz, reading is just a HOBBY, and I’m just a regular reader that is super passionate 💗 about spreading the word on GREAT books!) There are NO spoilers 🙌🏻!
So! This book starts off with an UNDERDOG FMC, who is treated POORLY 😩 in a world where female wolves are lower in the pecking order of the pack 😡! Definitely a backwards mentality as far as females are concerned! This UNDERDOG wolf has a BAD leg… but a FIERCE 👊🏻 HEART.. and cannot stand (but yep, can’t stop looking at 😍😆,) the DOMINANT ALPHA 🥵! Things really kick into gear when she shifts in front of EVERYONE for the VERY FIRST TIME … in her BDAY 🎂 SUIT 😲😲😲! Annnnnd… HE REJECTS HER 😭😭😭!!!
OK ✅!! So let me tell you! I LOVE ❤️ THIS FMC! She is so STRONG 💪🏻 and and is ALL about HELPING 💝 others ! She is at a physical disadvantage in life, but she DOESN’T let it get her down 👏🏻! She RISES ABOVE it and she is AWESOME 🤩! Like …she is STRONG THE WHOLE BOOK 🙌🏻! Yesssss 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻… I LOVE IT when a FMC KEEPS HER BACKBONE 👊🏻!!
And the MMC!! … guys… I LOVE 😍 THIS GUY! He is dominant and a TYRANT, yes! But he GROWS 🌱! I love it when an author makes you REALLY mad 🤬 at a MMC… and you just want the FMC to GET BACK at him SO BAD 🤜🏻! But then, somehow, you get HOOKED on this guy 😅! You get his POV and before you know it, the DUDE is STEALING 🥷 your HEART ❤️ with one CONSIDERATE action at a time! (Ummm.. never thought chillaxin’ with a playstation 📺 game or handing a cell phone 📱 over could be so ROMANTIC 💘! 😆😆😆)
But what REALLY surprised 😮 me about this book, is that the writing ✍️ is SUPER exceptional 👏🏻! I always go into books hoping 🤞🏻 for that, but I absolutely LOVE IT ❤️ when it ACTUALLY HAPPENS 🥳! With every page read, I just fell more & more IN LOVE 🥰 with these characters! I was DEFINITELY invested! And although I knew it was going to end up with an 💘 HEA, I was really INTERESTED 🤩 in the journey 🏃🏻♀️ to get there! I REALLY think this author is something special ✨ & I’m going to definitely check out her other books now 🥳!
Honestly, there are TWO types of Rejected Mates books that I love: one being where the FMC pushes back, never accepts the Mate (since he rejected her.. duh 🙄😅!,) and finds some other smokin’ hot dude 🥵… OR… the FMC STILL stays strong 💪🏻 through the whole book, we find out that the mate is actually a DECENT 😍 guy after all, and then he FALLS ALL OVER HIMSELF trying to WOO ❤️🔥 her back! And let me tell you… this book is ONE of those TWO 🙌🏻 (ok you probably have a good idea which from this review 😅, but honestly, it doesn’t spoil it.. just go in ready for an awesome 🤩 ride & ready to FALL IN LOVE 💞💞💞!)
So if you love a UNDERDOG 🐶 FMC who keeps on KICKING 🤺 the ENTIRE book, a MMC that you HATE 😡, but somehow FALL COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH 💕💕, really EXCEPTIONAL writing with tons of layers & depth, and a book that is essentially a standalone, but feels like so much more than JUST one book when it’s all said and done… give this a shot 🎯! It’s FREE on KU and you never know, it may just capture your HEART ♥️ … just like it captured mine!

🐺 Strong 💪🏻 FMC (the entire book folks!) & MMC that MAKES YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM 😍!! Man, I LOVE ❤️ this guy! I really fell in love with this book more & more as I read it! Excellent character development 👏🏻! FMC KEPT my respect ✊🏻 and MMC flat out won my heart ❤️!
