I read ‘Pack Reject,’ Book 1 of The Splintered Bond, by Merri Bright… and it was FANTASTIC 🤩! (FYI, I’m not affiliated with the author and there are NO spoilers! 🙌🏻)
Okay! So I first 👆🏻 gotta say… I am a SUCKER 😭 for a FMC who is legit ON THE RUN 🏃🏻♀️ from a pack of WOLVES that are trying to MATE WITH HER 🍆! I mean… that’s a pretty juicy 🍑, tall order of DRAMA 🎭 and TRUST ME 🤚🏻, it was a dish that was so well served 👏🏻! I LOVED it!
The author literally had me on tender hooks almost from the beginning of this fast-paced, stream-lined PNR Why-Choose 🙌🏻! I enjoyed it so much, I actually started messaging 📱 the author how much I loved ❤️ it at ONLY 18%, (I NEVER do that and also, no I don’t know her 😅!) Annnnnd… the book didn’t stop being GREAT 👍🏻! I page-turned this baby until the very end! 🥳
So what is it about 🤔?! Well! It starts off with a FMC who is the weakling 😣 of her pack and every night, there is a HUNT where the MALE wolf shifters (ehhhh… ok so they are WEREWOLVES 🐺, but for some reason when I think of WEREWOLVES my brain 🧠 thinks of that scene in Young Frankenstein, you know the one…”Werewolf! (gasp!) Werewolf?… There 👉🏻 wolf! There 👉🏻 castle!”… if you don’t know what I’m talking about please, for the love of all that is furry, just forget you read this as I’m aging myself 😆!)
Anyhoo… so essentially we have this weakling of the pack that every night has to get CREATIVE 💡to hide 🙈 herself or else she will be bitten🩸 & MATED 😵! Her alpha, by the way, is the complete PUNK that allows the pack’s really poop 💩 treatment of our girl! But it’s TOUGH for him to keep his douche canoe ways hidden when a BIG assembly of foreign packs come to his territory to find their mates 💘. ENTER ➡️ a chance for our girl to try to escape 🏃🏻♀️ the pack… but NOT before she runs in to some really FREAKING HOT 🥵 alpha dudes of other packs that well, think she’s a skinny boy 🧒🏻 ! It’s just SO GOOD, y’all 👏🏻! I gotta stop right now though or I’ll spoil it… but you can see where this is going… and it’s so FREAKING good 🙌🏻!
So if you LOVE ❤️ a GREAT Why Choose where the FMC is in an unfortunate situation 😞 (but has such a STRONG 💪🏻 spine through it all!), LOTS of DRAMA 🎭 of our girl being chased 🏃♂️and fighting 🤺 to save herself, annnnnd several HOT 🥵 guys that will do about ANYTHING to PROTECT 👊🏻 her through it all (one in particular is 🔥🔥🔥!)… give this a shot!
