I read ‘Ever Marked,’ Book 1 of the Mystics of Mercy Ridge by J. Kearston and I LOVED it! (FYI, this is an unbiased, genuine recommendation of a book I loved and there are NO spoilers! 🙌🏻)
You guyyyyssss 👏🏻👏🏻… this Paranormal Why Choose is Chef’s Kiss 🤌🏻💋! From the vibrant, colorful 🎨 , and unique cover… to the story that lies within, this book is FANTASTIC ! 🙌🏻
Ok ✅ ! So it kicks off with a GAMER 👾 FMC… yeah, you heard me right 👏🏻! This chick 💋 is a modern gal that games 🎮 with the best 🏆 of them! So much so, that she has INVENTED 👩🔬 a gaming console that she expects to be cutting edge 📐! One small 🤏🏻 problem though… her douche 🙄 bag boyfriend – who also happens to be her attorney 💼 representing her intellectual property – can’t seem to keep is pen 🖊️ in his pants 👖 ! If ya get what I mean 😉! So our strong 💪🏻 FMC says c-ya 👋🏻 and peaces ✌🏻out to find a new… well, everything ❤️. Fate plays her hand 🃏, and before you know it 👆🏻, our girl is in a mysterious 🔎 town with some smoking HOT 🥵 guys (errr she may have met one of them by hitting him with her car 🚙 ! Not to worry though 🥴… this guy considered it as good as foreplay 😅!)… and well, she quickly realizes that the paranormal 🐺🪄 👹books she reads may not be fiction at all! 😲
Eeeek! Guys I just loved this book 👏🏻! I loved the unique paranormal world 🌎 that J. Kearston built … and with such hot 🔥 MMCs! The psycho demon 👹, protective wolf 🐺 , and nerdy 🤓 (but well endowed 🍆 cough 🤭 cough 🤭) GENIUS 🧠 … are just SMOKIN 🥵🔥! And that cliffy… fabulous! I legit can’t wait for Book 2!
So if you LOVE a Why Choose where ‘one of the boys’ FMC gives her cheating douche canoe 🛶 boyfriend the big finger 🖕🏻, stumbles upon a quant 😍 town where she quickly becomes the object of several hot 🥵 guys smoldering 👀 attention, and a unique paranormal aspect with shifters 🐺, mages 🪄 , and demons 👹… oh my! Give this a shot! It’s free on KU and you never know, it may just leave a mark on you too!
