I read ‘Storm of Shadows,’ Book 1 of The Firestone Academy by Hannah Haze and it is FANTASTIC 🤩! (FYI, this is an unbiased, genuine recommendation of a book I loved and there are NO spoilers! 🙌🏻)
Okay, so do you like Divergent 🤔? Hunger games 🤔? An Academy Why Choose Romance where all the SMOKING HOT 🥵 guys are after our girl, but she’s on her own mission 🥷 and well, tells them to just go pound sand 😆?! If so, this is totally your JAM 🙌🏻!
Soooo… I don’t want to like, set the expectations this is another Divergent or Hunger Games 😬… it’s NOT ❌. TOTALLY different actually 😁! But if you LOVE the vibes of FACTIONS and DISTRICTS… especially ones where our girl comes from a SECTOR (or “Quarter”) of land that is the POOREST 😭 and most UNPRIVILEGED 😔 of the four quarters, AND their “faction” is known for mine ⛏ workers (whereas her guys come from the most WEALTHY 💰& POWERFUL 💥 Quarter), then yeah 😅, your gonna get those vibes too & LOVE it 👏🏻… just like I did 🙌🏻!
So what’s this story about 👏🏻?! Okay ✅! So our girl is STRONG 💪🏻, even though she herself is POWERLESS 😭 of MAGIC 🪄 and as mentioned, comes from the POOREST 😭 Quarter of them all (Hunger Games vibes for sure 🙌🏻)! Each year, all the recently turned 21 year old adults are forced to take a train 🚂 to The Firestone Academy 🏫 (see, TOTALLY Hunger Games vibes 😅!), where they are thrown into classes with all the different Quarters (Onyx, Iron, Slate, & Granite!) to see if anyone should REALLY be in a different Quarter (okay, totally Divergent Faction vibes here 🙌🏻!) It’s all sort of a joke 😂 really to our FMC, as rumor has it, NO ONE ever ends up in a different Quarter (or do they?! 😁😁). Throw in the fact the THREE most POWERFUL 💥 guys can wield magic, are HOT 🔥, and EVERY girl wants to become their THRALL ⛓ ➕ 🍆 ➕ 🍑… but they only have eyes 👀 for ONE girl,.. and this book is TOTALLY a page-turning OBSESSION 😍!
Not gonna lie 🤥, Hannah Haze has become a one-click author for me! I freaking LOVE 💗 Fractured Fates, Book 1 of the Arrow Hart Academy… and I honestly ✌🏻 questioned how the heck she could write ANOTHER academy series (not set in the same world) that is as FREAKING good 👏🏻 as her first Academy Romance 🤔?! News flash 👆🏻! She did it 👏🏻! I LOVED 💖 this book just as much! AND GUESS WHAT 🤯!! BOOK two JUST came out a couple days ago! So guess what I just downloaded?! 👏🏻😁
So if you LOVE ❤️🔥 a STRONG 💪🏻 FMC, that comes from a UNPRIVILEGED 😭 land, where the privileged guys DESPERATELY 🔥 want her… while at the same time, she couldn’t give a flying flipper 🐬 because she isn’t interested in the guys that the rest of the Academy girls are salivating 🤤 over, AND she has her own mission 🥷… give this a shot! It’s FREE on KU and you never know, it might STORM ⚡in and hook you too!
